Mother’s Day is upon us and that’s a day where we get super spoiled and get to have some time to ourselves – as matter of fact, I reckon we get whatever we want on Mother’s Day. Whether this comes from your partner, those close to you or even yourself (yes, you’re allowed to celebrate yourself too), it always feels good to be spoiled extra much even if it’s one day in a year.
Mama Tribe SA has an event for this year’s Mother’s Day where moms get together and have important conversations around motherhood and their experiences. An open and judgemental space where we can celebrate, vent and share our motherhood journeys. It is a first of many where different topics that affect women, especially mothers, can be discussed in depth.
At the first Mama Tribe Sunday Brunch you can expect the following:
Relationship & Sex Talk with Makabelo Motaung (Relationship, Social & Dating Coach)
“I will guide you through a process of growth and transformation for your feminine souls. I’m for the women who dare to have the lives that they truly want. The conversations and activities are delivered in a fun and warm manner with the purpose of creating the juicy, pleasure and purpose-filled life that women yearn for. You want to tap into your “wowness” and reclaim your brilliance? That’s what I’m here for.”
Self Care and Yoni Healing with Vanessa Maluleke (Owner of Sana Organics and Yoni Steaming Facilitator)
“The mere mention of the word vagina makes people feel awkward. And our discomfort with this part of ourselves has caused us to diminish her power. She holds the space for how you birth yourself into the world as well as how you open and receive life, pleasure and abundance. I think it’s time that we reconnect with this most sacred place and take ownership over her magnificence, pleasure and wonder.”
Child Minding Services
As Mama Tribe trust us when we say mamas are our first priority and we think of ways to make your lives more convenient. We will have child minding at certain events where you can bring your child along if you have no one to look after her. We don’t you to miss on a social life where you can debrief and enjoy life with fellow mommies. You can do both; be a mommy and still enjoy the social life.
What’s an event without goodie bags to take home? It’s a non event haha. There’ll be some goodie bags filled with some Sana Organics products. A range of natural and organic women’s lifestyle products.
The Venue – The Trea Garden
The venue for this intimate event aligns with everything we want to achieve for women and mothers. The Trea Garden is owned by a young and inspirational woman and she has created a warm and cozy ambience that will help us connect during our conversations. Welcome mimosas, food, juice and tea will be offered.
This event goes for R400pp.
